R & R Manufacturing, a growing process automation company, is seeking an experienced Welder for our Broussard, LA location.

Central job duties to include:

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automation and control systems.
• Design and implement control logic, including ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
• Install, test, and maintain control panels, HMIs, and industrial networking systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Configure and integrate VFDs, sensors, and other automation components into control systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and optimize automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with UL 891, UL 1008, and other relevant electrical standards.
• Provide technical support to production teams, field service technicians, and account managers.
• Document programming changes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
• Assist inside sales with quotes and bill of materials.
• Monthly out of state site visits and service calls

Pre-employment requirements consist of valid DL, background check, clear driving record, and a drug & alcohol analysis.

Salary commensurate with experience.
