Aprio Cloud is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced and challenging work environment. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading the hands on identification, design, development, testing, delivery, maintenance and support of automation solutions for Aprio Cloud. This is primarily a technical role that requires strong software development expertise at both a platform and application level. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external business and technology teams, such as Business Analysts, Process Owners, Business SMEs, and Application Owners/Architects, etc., to successfully deliver Automated Solutions.

Position responsibilities:
Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor - Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Able to boil complex problems down to their constituent elements, and then formulate and evaluate a range of alternative solutions.
Ability to analyze, interpret, and improve business requirements while applying agile practices to design and develop impactful automation solutions
Continuously monitor implemented solutions to ensure optimal performance and opportunities for continuous improvement as well as debug and quickly resolve any issues that periodically arise
Execute work leveraging Agile and Scrum methodology
Collaborate with Aprio DevOps and IT teams working to support the build and roll-out of technology solutions.
Ability to coach and mentor functional managers, advisors, and junior members of the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, priorities, projects and deadlines
Expertise with Web and Application Development, API Development/Integration as well as Microservice Development/Integration
In depth expertise developing and deploying solutions involving several of the following: Python, Java, C+, SQL, Angular.JS, HTML
Experience and exposure to Automation and BPM tools and capabilities such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, WorkFusion, Azure, Microsoft Power, AI, ML, NLP, etc. is a major plus
Dedicated mindset for working in a virtual environment 100% of the time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills by phone, email and via video
