Here, we develop the standardised technologies that colleagues all over ROCKWOOL use as a basis for developing localised technologies.Creating and delivering on everything from machines and production equipment to entire production lines, we are highly specialised within our fields – and great at using each other’s skill sets to overcome the technological challenges we face.“Helpfulness is a fundamental part of our DNA, and we naturally share our knowledge when we learn something new,” your future Section Manager Karsten Madsen explains.This is the role You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of our software systems for automation, control and manufacturing execution. Your assignments can vary from small machine deliveries and support cases to participation in large factory construction projects on a global scale.You will be responsible for your own deliveries in ad hoc project teams with a hardware engineer, a mechanical engineer and a project manager. Typically, you will be involved in 2-5 projects parallel.More specifically, you will:Use your programming skills in PLC and SCADA control systemsParticipate in the ongoing development of the Siemens PLC software and WinCC SCADA platform and join our in-house team of experts on the platformsCoordinate specific projects with our local factories and the rest of the project team involvedTrain and guide colleagues from all over ROCKWOOL in the solutions we developHandle requests for third-line support from our factoriesAlthough your new desk will be located in the Nowy Rynek building in central Poznań, Poland, you will often travel primarily in Europe but could also be around North America and Asia – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your projects. You can expect to travel up to 80 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others, and you are curious to work with people with different nationalities.We furthermore imagine that you:Could be an electrical/electronics engineer, a mechanical engineer with programming skills or hold an education within ITExperience with Siemens TIA PLC software and WinCC SCADA platformExperience with C++, C, VBA, R, Python or other programming languagesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.Excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in English What we offer: By joining our team, you become a part of the people-centric work environment of a Danish company.
