Your Role
- Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for automated systems.
- Validate and ensure the proper functioning of automation systems in alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of automation validation documentation and protocols to ensure compliance.
- Develop, review, and approve automation validation protocols, reports, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Support the integration of automation systems and ensure they function correctly in the manufacturing environment.
- Work independently with minimal guidance to troubleshoot automation-related issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and improve automation processes.
- Ensure all activities are well-documented in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure automation validation processes meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide input on best practices for automation validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in automation validation, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
- Proficiency in the execution of IOQ (Installation, Operational Qualification) processes for automated systems.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and technologies used in manufacturing and validation processes.
- Familiarity with cleaning validation knowledge is a plus.
- Strong documentation skills with experience in GMP environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform periodic reviews and provide necessary updates to protocols and documentation.
- Travel Required: At PSC Biotech, many of our projects and clients are located in various regions around the country. The ability to adapt to different locations, cultures, and work environments is essential, as it allows our team members to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues nationally.
