Automation Engineer (iFIX Expert in HMI/SCADA)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in iFIX for HMI/SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Design & Implementation: Develop and configure iFIX SCADA systems to effectively monitor and control manufacturing processes. Optimization: Troubleshoot and enhance existing HMI applications to ensure reliability and performance. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions tailored to operational needs. Compliance: Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and data integrity standards in all automation processes. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials. User Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, helping them maximize the capabilities of iFIX and related systems. Requirements Experience:  Working experience with iFIX in HMI/SCADA applications, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. Technical Skills: Proficient in iFIX SCADA system design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of process control, data acquisition, and automation standards. Familiarity with SQL databases and data management principles. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
