About the Role:

Workforce Genetics is seeking an Automation Technician to support a commercial biotech company in the biomanufacturing sector. This long-term, multi-year contract position is ideal for candidates with at least one year of experience in life sciences manufacturing and a strong interest in automation, data collection, and supporting engineering teams in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage user access and permissions on all manufacturing (MFG) and analytical equipment.
• Gather, organize, and report data from manufacturing and analytical equipment to support the engineering team.
• Ensure proper operation and documentation of automation systems and processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a life sciences manufacturing environment (biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices ).
• Familiarity with automated manufacturing and analytical equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic knowledge of data collection and reporting processes.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and comply with GMP, FDA, and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
