Automotive Electronics Installation Technician

Technology innovators and industry leaders, our client designs, and engineers all its own products. The company is based in a new purpose-built facility and is currently expanding its Australian Operations.You will be responsible for the installation of electronic modules and wiring into a range of vehicles. The role is key to ensuring the quality and timeliness of the services the company provides to its clients, which are generally large Government and Corporate organizations, not private individuals.Preferred skills Experience in the installation of wire harnesses and cable loomsCert III qualified Auto ElectricianInstallation and configuration of mechanical/electronic assembliesAbility to interpret equipment layout drawings and instructionsAbility to perform basic soldering and wire crimping to a consistent high qualityUse of power and manual hand toolsFamiliarity with operating in a safety-focused environmentSuitable for an Auto Accessory Fitter, with electrical experience, who is looking for a change Personal characteristics Ability to deliver work of a high standard, within specified time frames and under minimal supervisionGood verbal communication skillsAbility to contribute to a positive team environmentGood personal organisational skillsWillingness to work off site occasionally to support installations and service Sound troubleshooting/problem solving skills and attention to detailDependable and reliable Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
