We specialize in customizing snow and ice removal equipment for heavy municipal, county, and state trucks by installing a variety of specialized equipment. In 2020, a partner, Viking-Cives, purchased LINDCO and business continues to grow rapidly, and we need more help!
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This position installs industrial snow and ice equipment onto truck chassis. This position reports to the Shop Foreman. A mindset of continuous improvement and outside the box thinking is important, as we constantly try to better ourselves in every aspect of what we do. Best of all, we are a fully employee-owned company where we work together as a team to build a successful and profitable business.
Responsibilities
- Install custom hydraulic equipment systems (Rexith, Muncie, certified power) on chassis
- Install Pneumatics, Electronics, Fabricated and other purchased components
- Assemble manufactured products such as dump bodies and the painting of dump bodies and chassis, and conduct daily forklift inspections
- Route hydraulic lines
- Install custom 12-volt electric systems
- Other duties and responsibilities as required; we are a Team, and we support each other.
Qualifications
- A proven ability to be a respected, trusted, and reliable professional
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate up, down, and sideways
- Training and expertise in welding, wiring, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Ability to read blue prints/CAD drawings
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing or truck equipment industries
- HS diploma or GED is required
