As the Automotive Service Technician, you are the lifeline of our business, and we make sure you get the best tools, resources, and training to continue to advance in your career. You have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance and the desire to fix it right the first time to deliver an exceptional client experience. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and work well with team members to problem solve. You are a team player with an eagerness to learn, grow, and win.
As an Automotive Service Technician with Autobahn Fort Worth, you will be responsible for:
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
- Test driving vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Providing estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
