Automotive Service Technician needed for busy shop in central Broward county. Arctic Auto is a complete service repair facility specializing in A/C repair that is family owned and operated since 1976.

Requirements and job description are as follows:

• ASE certifications are for this position.

• Experience in heavy duty trucks, buses and RV auto AC work desirable.

• 5 years or more of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience

• Maintain an organized clean and safe bay.

• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.

• Willing to learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

• Broward County Motor Vehicle Repair License- can be obtained upon hiring

• Computer diagnostic knowledge and testing ability

• Must have own tools

Must be motivated and a team player . Terms of compensation negotiable with bonuses.
