AV Project Manager
Job Description
As a Project Manager at TenAV, you will be involved in delivering high quality commercial AV projects throughout the UK/Europe. This is an excellent time to join, with large long-term projects in the pipeline and the opportunity to progress. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys with our sales team in the pre-sales stage and advising on best practice for equipment, considering cable runs, installation challenges and so forth on a project-by-project basis.
- Drawing basic schematics for room designs, showing cable runs for the installation.
- Managing a project from start to finish; from the site survey to the handover between the sales process and the engineers, attending project meetings, giving support on site to the engineers when challenges arise, organising sundries to be ordered and sent to site when required, and generally being the go-to for our engineering team.
- Your time will be split between client sites, working from home and the office, supporting our Operations Manager, our Engineers and Sales teams to deliver high quality installations on time, and on budget.
Key requirements:
Essential
- A minimum of 3 years of B2B project management experience within a technology background (AV ) and a strong employment history demonstrating the ability to successfully manage projects
- Experience of working and managing contractors, including H&S implementation, onsite
- A keen interest in technology and the industry as a whole and an understanding of the AV market including MTRs running on multiple platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Full, clean UK driving license and own transport.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- A valid passport
Desirable
- Experience working with office fit-out companies, contractors, facilities managers, and IT teams
- Working within the audio-visual industry or an IT background.
- Prince 2 Qualified
- A working knowledge of Auto CAD
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
