Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technical Services Engineer provides crucial technical support for base maintenance in Luton) and Brussels, offering solutions beyond standard manuals to ensure aircraft compliance and performance.



ABOUT THE JOB

• Provide advanced technical support for maintenance tasks beyond standard manuals.

• Develop engineered solutions for complex systems and engine defects.

• Collaborate with OEMs and internal departments for approval of solutions.

• Address system and engine issues, including AD/SB evaluations and implementations.

• Support fleet maintenance, including man-hour compilation and data package creation.

• Evaluate technical instructions and provide feedback to improve processes.

• Attend hangar meetings, offering support and reporting defects.

• Assist in accomplishing modification engineering releases and recommend program amendments.

• Liaise with Part M departments for compliance with airworthiness directives and service bulletins.

• Represent TUI Airways in meetings with manufacturers and airlines.

• Manage work orders and repair schemes for additional work requirements.

• Enhance departmental procedures and provide technical follow-up during maintenance.



ABOUT YOU

• CAA/EASA A or B License ( but not essential).

• Recognized Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline maintenance.

• Proficiency in using AMM, CMM, IPC, WDM, SWPM, and OEM maintenance manuals.

• Strong understanding of NAA, Part M, CAMO, and Part 145 regulations.

• Excellent communication skills and understanding of Human Factors.

• Proficient in engineering IT systems, Adobe, and drawing software
