Build and maintain technical trusted advisor relationships with all levels in an organization, from technical experts to senior executivesAccelerate innovation by detecting high-impact, repeatable solutions for enterprises,  iteratively deploying them, and representing ClearScale capabilities in AWS Cloud Solutions to customers and the communityAuthorship of technical publications including blog entries, case studies, and ebooksBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in an engineering/scientific field or 5+ years of designing and developing services or applications within an organization5+ years consulting experience and track record of helping customers with their needs or comparable experience working with internal customers in a product companyUnderstanding fundamentals of different project management methodologies and frameworks (covering Agile, Lean Development, classical waterfall) applicable for custom software engineering8+ years experience building enterprise software solutions4+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud platformExperience designing and implementing modern cloud-based applications using event-driven and NoSQL technologies (e.g. Lambda, Kafka, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, ActiveMQ, SQS, EventBridge, Redis/Memcached)Experience with containerized environments and/or serverless applications, understanding of architecture patterns, area of applicability, restrictions, and typical problemsExperience building fault-tolerant and no-downtime distributed cloud systemsExperience using and adapting to new technologiesComfort with assuming high-profile leadership roles in demanding, highly-visible customer situationsStrong listening, written, and oral communications skillsPreferred QualificationsAWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or ability to acquire it in 3 monthsExperience with enterprise workloads migration to AWS platformExperience working with secured data (e.g. PHI, classified data)Deep understanding of column, key-value, document or graph databasesExperience giving public technical presentationsYou’ll be a great fit if:You love being a part of a dynamic, and agile team that encourages you to learn and growYou desire to work with some of the world’s top brandsYou love finding solutions to interesting problems and figuring out how things workYou welcome having autonomy with complex tasksYou are passionate about using your experience and expertise to inspire the teamPowered by JazzHR
