Responsibilities:
Design and implement Azure and/or other cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard client data and infrastructure in Azure and/or other cloud environments.
Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure and/or other cloud resources to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure and/or other cloud services, network connectivity, and application performance.
Assist in data migration and integration projects to transition on-premises systems to Azure and/or other cloud solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure and cloud technologies, features, services, and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our service offerings and capabilities.
Collaborate with the team to document technical procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentoring activities to foster continuous learning and growth within the team.
Participate in change management and incident review as needed. Document changes and actions in change management and ticketing systems.
Vigilantly protect Castle and our client's data through our cybersecurity risk program, which adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities.
Act as an escalation point for all things Azure.
Provide SNOC support as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituded
Certification:
Azure certification (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304,etc.) -
Experience Required:
Hands on Azure experience - 3+ years required or 2+ with an Azure certification - Required
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) - Required
Linux - experience administering, monitoring and performance tuning - Required
Docker - deploying Docker containerized applications and Docker logging - Required
Data management - understanding Azure based storage solutions like Azure Files, Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake - Required
Kubernetes administration - Required
