Battery Business Development Job

JOB DIMENSIONThis position is located at Arkema STC(Seoul Technical Center) in Hanyang University. This position reports to Battery BD manager in STC. The BD and will be in charge of new biz development and tech service and data generation for Battery Business for domestically and globally. There are 3 big battery OEMs in Korea and this position is very important to communicate and make new business for battery application.This position will focus on not only Kynar® PVDF but also extend to other materials such as LIFSI and so on. CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENTAs South Korea is taking the lead in battery market, competition between materials development companies are quite high. Battery BD need to closely monitor customer requirements, market trends, and competitors' activities to propose solutions for battery applications using Kynar PVDF.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DOBattery Business Development for Korean OEMs - Prepare annual product development plan by close communication with market manager and local sales team, and implement it based on milestone Management - Cooperation with sales team in Korea, reply to technical question from customer, and visit key accounts regularly for trouble shooting or exchange new technical information with customer.- Input above information to appropriate Arkema database and create internal request to BU Battery BD Manager. After experiment, create appropriate reports for customer. - Cooperate with the WW Research and Development team of the BU to share detailed customer feedbacks and participate to the products range evolution. - Be innovative and propose new market/product development. Participate to tradeshow and give conferences. - Implement new product and application based on Arkema methodology such as stage/gate process.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE1. Knowledge & Experience 1) At least college degree in polymer materials or chemistry related major 2) more than 3yrs working experience in related fields is preferred 3) Ability to perform daily lab activities with safety always first in mind  2. Skills & Abilities 1) Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 2) Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners. 3) Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
