Battery Field Service Engineer
Job Description
My client is looking for a Battery Engineer / Field Service Engineer to complete work on a range of customer's sites. They are ideally looking for an experiened Battery Engineer, who is confident, with excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a permanent full-time position.\n\nLocation: Doncaster - As this is a field service role, you can live upto 1 hour away from Doncaster\n\nHours: Monday to Friday dayshift - 40 hour week with no call outs / weekends\n\nSalary: £28,000pa to £35,000pa DOE + overtime paid at x1.5\n\nBENEFITS:\n\n25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays\nCompany pension scheme\nCompany van\nCompany tablet, laptop & mobile phoneKEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nMaintain and repair forklift batteries and charging equipment on customer sites\nLiaise closely with Key Accounts and carry out repairs and services as required\nCarry out battery topping, cleaning, and maintenance on customer premises\nShift covers for sickness & holiday support\nSubmit all job sheets and reports to head office on a weekly basis\nSafely prepare equipment for transportation\nBuild up strong relationships with members of staff and customers\nWork closely with the service department to plan and schedule jobs and prioritise urgent calloutsQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS\n\nKnowledge of forklift batteries & chargers is desirable but not essential\nBackground in Battery & Charger repairs & maintenance is desirable but not essential\nExcellent communication skills within the company and externally with customers\nMust hold Full UK Driving Licence, as company van will be provided\nAbility to function as part of a team\nDiligent and conscientious attitude with the ability to prioritise a busy workload\nAbility to work unsupervised\nWell organised, confident and professionalCommutable from: Leeds, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Lincoln, York, Bradford and surrounding areas.\n\nIf you are interested in joining our team, we would like to hear from you.
