Immediate Temp to Hire Bilingual in ITALIAN AND ENGLISH Building Maintenance Manager for Pasadena Facility

We seek an experienced and skilled Bilingual Italian and English Maintenance Manager to join our client's team at their Pasadena location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a robust technical background, and proven expertise in managing maintenance operations within a food manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly , with the additional advantage of knowledge in a third such as Italian.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance:
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, equipment lubrication, monitoring, and replacement of worn parts.
• Ensure cleanliness and functionality of all equipment to prevent failures and extend operational life.
• Extraordinary Maintenance:
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or malfunctions.
• Perform necessary repairs or replace damaged components.
• Facility Oversight:
• Ensure all production and packaging equipment, including pasta processing machines, are in excellent working condition.
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety and food safety regulations.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and coordinate a team of two technical specialists.
• Conduct staff training, manage resources, and assign daily maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance.
• Inventory Management:
• Ensure availability of spare parts for routine and extraordinary maintenance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and plan purchasing as needed.

Requirements

Must have 4 years experience as a Maintenance Manager

• Proven experience preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of workplace and food safety regulations.
• Bilingual proficiency in ITALIAN and English (REQUIRED)
