Bill Of Materials Management

Our client, BAE Systems is currently seeking a Senior Engineer specialised in BoM Management to join their team on a contract basis in Scotstoun. This role involves hybrid working arrangements with a requirement for on-site presence two days a week, potentially reducing to one.



Key Responsibilities:



Liaising with stakeholders, particularly engineers creating changes

Implementing changes in Bills of Material (BoM)

Managing and updating BoM forms

Utilising Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

Applying knowledge across design and build industries, beyond defence

Providing engineering and configuration management expertise

Conducting data analytics and managing product breakdown structures

Focusing on and completing specific tasks efficiently



Job Requirements:



Experience with BoM management

Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Proficiency in PLM systems

Understanding of configuration management

Strong data analytical skills

Ability to develop and manage product breakdown structures
