We’re currently seeking for a skilled Bindery Lead Operator. This individual will play a crucial role in the setup and adjustments of all ancillary components like feed hoppers, autoloader, cameras, turnover, inkjet and tabbing equipment. This individual will operate a variety of Bindery equipment such as Tippers, Folders, Cutters, Stitchers, Die Cutters, and Laminators, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Set up jobs on machines across Bindery Equipment.

·         Follows QC Checklist at the startup of the job and monitors quality throughout the job using Bindery practices such as comparing to the Sherpa, Mockup, One-Sheet, or any other documentation provided.

·         Comprehends work orders and special requirements for jobs.

·         Performs or oversees routine maintenance as required on all Bindery equipment.

·         Set up and calibrate camera for reading relevant barcodes for read and print jobs, camera verification.

·         Troubleshoot all mechanical issues to optimize productivity.

·         During troubleshooting, when possible, take the opportunity to teach other lead operators troubleshooting skills.

·         Ability to Temporarily fill in for shift supervisor if necessary.

·         Follow all safety guidelines as outline in machine manuals and Bindery procedures.

·         Ensure all machine guards are in place.

·         Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

·   GED / High School Diploma

·   Ability to work a fast continuous pace.

· Ability to work 8-12hrs shift
