Biologics Production Scientist

I have an amazing opportunity for a Biologics Production Scientist to join a rapidly growing diagnostics and biotech company based in Oxfordshire.

Your mission is to join the Biologics Technology Transfer team to support the complex transfers from Development into Biologics and be responsible for the day to day production and process of kit components.

You will be responsible for:

• Expression and purification of Proteins, production of DNA & RNA analytes, and production of protein-DNA complexes
• Ensuring batch records are correct and followed correctly
• Raising Change controls, deviations, CAPA, and non-conformances
• General lab maintenance and making sure the work environment is GMP compliant

You will bring the following:

• Experience working under ISO 13485
• Hands on experience working with assays and assay development
• Solid working knowledge of Purification techniques e.g. chromatography, HPLC, tangential flow filtration and terminal filtration
• Laboratory experience with small or large scale proteins, DNA/RNA, or chemical processing
