We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Biomedical Scientist in Blood Transfusion to join our reputable client in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic large laboratory environment, where your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. The main hours are : Mon - Friday (Apply online only), (Apply online only) and (Apply online only) and 1 in 4 Saturday 9.00 - 17.00.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct a variety of blood transfusion tests with precision.\nMaintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.\nEnsure full compliance with health and safety regulations.\nAccurately analyse and interpret complex test results.\nMaintain detailed records and documentation.\nParticipate in maintaining the Quality Management System (lSO 15189) \nCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the best patient care.\nQualifications and Experience:\n\nHCPC registration.\nA Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.\nAt least 2 years of experience working in a busy Blood Transfusion lab.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nExperience with Haemonetics Blood Track is beneficial, but not required.\nIf you are a dedicated professional with a passion for blood transfusion science and patient care, we would love to hear from you!
