As an BIT Operations Engineer, you'll be offered the unique opportunity to become part of an international team of top engineers, contributing to OLX Group's success. You'll be responsible for the availability and performance of OLX internal IT systems and services, and supporting the underlying cloud and network stack.We’re a team of 3,000 ambitious, curious people building marketplace platforms that make it super easy for anyone to buy and sell almost anything, boosting local economies.What you will be doing:Autonomously provide 1st and 2nd level support to all local users, from simple requests to owning complex technical issues raised by developers and highly technical staffSupport all local Office IT Services as well as Global Shared Services such as, but not limited to: Google Apps, Slack, Atlassian, OKTA, Video Conference Systems, Windows and Mac OS clients, development tools, local IT projects, in-house events, server room, printers, mobile devices, onboarding of new hires and offboardingCreate documentation to share knowledge and assist with increasing user satisfaction through proactiveness and ethical behaviorAssist with purchasing of hardware and software license management, seeking new solutions, and providing support to existing onesTake part in Business IT projects in order to improve the level of our IT services as a group, as well as locallyWho we are looking for:1+ years of experience in IT support functions, with an emphasis on supporting technical staffCustomer oriented, positive and able to remain calm under stressAnalytical troubleshooter and problem solving. You may not have the answer, but you want to and know how to find itTeam player that actively collaborates with people to find solutions to problemsPrevious experience in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment Experience in supporting OS X and Windows based systemsKnowledge of client and software deployment, Jamf and Azure IntuneExperience with IT systems such as email and centralized user managementExperience with working in a service management tool with a ticketing system.
