At Siemens Gamesa, we are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team and support our focus on energy transformation.Find out how you can make a difference at Siemens Gamesa: . How to contribute to our vision:For our Blade Integrity department in Aalborg, we are looking for a Blade Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Engineer.What are my responsibilities?Support roadmap for Blade Inspection from Technology department side.Develop methods for inspecting blades and blades parts.Support for projects.Support plants with interpretation and evaluation of complex inspection results.Support in field operations and investigations (Service, Warranty Projects, site trips).Support for blade testing.Specialized training aimed for Quality coaches.What you need to make a difference:You must have an engineering degree or other technical background in mechanical engineering / analysis.You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience and a profound understanding of non-destructive testing or inspection.You have a solid understanding of light weight structures and composites.You have a flair for automation and continuous improvement.In addition, you must have excellent English skills both orally and in writing. We are an international team, and it is of highest importance that you can communicate your results in a clear and convincing manner.Portuguese and Spanish skills are seen as a plus.Furthermore, you have a structured approach to your work, you can handle multiple assignments simultaneously without losing overview, and you are driving your work independently.This position may involve a higher degree of travelling at some times for wind farms in need of an inspection specialist.In return of your commitment., we offer you:Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.
