Builder - Installation Manager/Warehouse Manager

Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies for 90 years! We are looking for an Installation/Warehouse Manager to join our team in Pensacola.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Management of all flooring installations through the New Construction, Multi-Family and Commercial Divisions; as well as responsible for maintaining material in a warehouse environment utilizing powered tools and vehicles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage installations from beginning to end, keeping in close contact with the scheduling department, sub-contractors, sales team and field supervisors

• Manage daily installation schedules to ensure customer’s production schedules are met

• Troubleshoot any installation and/or flooring issues to determine the best solution for the customer

• Work closely with the sales team to understand the customer’s needs and upcoming projects

• Recruit and develop sub-contractors as needed

• Responsible for approving sub-contractor labor along with Market Manager

· Operate a powered forklift to transport materials

· Ensure materials are properly loaded and unloaded for delivery and installation

· Operate cutting machine

· Maintain receiving and shipping of inventory

· Staging, loading and assigning daily orders

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Have earned Highschool diploma or equivalent

· Have one year experience in the Flooring Industry or Construction is a plus.

· Must have exceptional customer services and communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize the duties required

· Be able to lift at least 75 pounds

· Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

· Problem-solving skills with a solutionist reputation

· Display a sense of urgency to address and satisfy customer issues

· Knowledgeable use of iPad

· Basic level of Microsoft Office proficiency

· Must be able to pass drug and background checks

· Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.

· Have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

· Be able to meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:

o Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment

o Talk and hear

o See and be able to read, write, and interpret written document
