BUILDING MANAGER / BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT

Job Description

Reporting to an off-site Property Manager this on-site position shall oversee the physical operation of one or more commercial office or flex/industrial buildings including the maintenance, cleaning and mechanical operations and responding to tenant requests.

Essential Duties

• Respond to tenant needs and resolve problems

• Conduct daily maintenance inspections

• Diagnose maintenance problems and communicate with the Property Manager to assist in coordinating corrective action

• Conduct repairs and maintenance

• Coordinate and supervise all contracted maintenance with third party service providers including cleaning, HVAC, snow removal, landscaping, window washing, security, etc.

• Operate and maintain building energy management systems and programs

Essential Skills

• Prior experience with building maintenance required

• Mechanical background

• 3-5 years building maintenance experience required. Commercial experience .

• Ability to work in a team oriented environment

• Positive attitude and ability to work independently

• Professional demeanor

• Hard worker

• Highly motivated individual

• Excellent communication skills
