Building Maintenance Worker

We are currently hiring a Full-time and Part-time Maintenance Assistant for our Wesley Woods community, located on the Emory Campus in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Maintenance Assistant will assist our Maintenance Director to support our Plant Operations. The Full-time position is Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend on call. The Part-time position is weekends only, Saturday and Sunday.

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of Two years of Maintenance experience required
- One year of Maintenance experience in LTC/Skilled nursing community
- Experience working in a Person-Directed Care community
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and physical plant upkeep
- Genuine passion for working with elders
- Knowledge of health care regulations pertaining to Federal/State/JCAHO surveys
- Ability to assist in supporting Safety and Emergency Preparedness for community
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal/written)
- Ability to foster team work with coworkers
- Experience working with TELS Building Management system
- Strong organization and time management skills
