Building Physics Engineer\n\nLocation: Birmingham, UK \n\nPurobuild have partnered with a leading, global consultancy specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. This award winning consultancy are looking for a Building Physics Engineer to join their established team in Birmingham. The successful Building Physics Engineer must have relevant experience within a consultancy based position and be confident communicating with members of the design/engineering teams and liaising with clients on project matters.

The Building Physics Engineer will join a growing team working on some high spec, complex projects across a range of sectors. \n\nBuilding Physics Engineer requirements: \n\n• Minimum 2 years experience in a Building Physics role\n• Proficient using IES VE software and undertaking energy analysis\n• Experience with Part L calculations\n• Experience in operational Energy modelling (TM54 etc)\n• Experience undertaking overheating analysis TM52, TM59 and daylight assessments\n• Experienced in IES for detailed energy modelling\n• CIBSE certification Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) / Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) desired\n\nA fantastic opportunity for a Building Physics Engineer to take the next step in their career and progress their technical skills and experience in the field. Salary for this role is typically between £40,000 - 50,000 dependant on technical skills and level of experience.
