Job Title: Building Systems & Energy Manager
Location: OKC
Salary: $95K - $120K
The Building Systems & Energy Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing building automation systems (BAS), energy management, and controls infrastructure for our client. This position provides strategic direction, ensures operational efficiency, and maintains regulatory compliance for building systems and energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of BAS/controls infrastructure and energy management strategies.
- Oversee system upgrades, retrofits, and quality management processes.
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation for building system operations.
- Develop technical standards, specifications, and documentation for systems integration and optimization.
- Lead ISO50001 Energy Management System initiatives and collaborate with the Energy Management Committee.
- Monitor energy performance, report metrics to leadership, and drive improvements in energy efficiency.
- Mentor and develop BAS, HVAC, and technical staff to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in building automation systems and 5+ years in energy management.
- 5+ years of management experience, with strong process development and documentation skills.
- Experience with Honeywell Niagara N4 or Automated Logic BAS management.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Additional certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or healthcare facilities management experience.
