About the Role:

As a Business Analyst at Open Destinations, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our clients and our development team. You will be responsible for understanding, documenting, and communicating business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and detailed test plans. You will be a key point of contact throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that the delivered solution meets the client's needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect, understand, and transmit business requirements for projects, translating them into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
• Analyze and document complex business processes.
• Document workflows and results of business analysis, obtaining client sign-off on specifications.
• Serve as the liaison between the customer, development team, and any third-party vendors regarding software functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage change requests related to project plans, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
• Produce weekly reports for the project manager, detailing progress against milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Conduct training workshops at client sites.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of the Travel Industry domain.
• Proven ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
• Demonstrated experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
• A proven track record in Software Development.
• End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience interacting directly with end-users in a customer-facing role.
• Experience working on system integrations via API.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to ODL client sites as required.

Experience Required:

3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis.

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate in a relevant IT field.
• : Degree in Software Engineering.
