Currently we have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with 5+ years' SaaS experience, preferably with enterprise clients in the hospitality or entertainment industry to join our U.K team based in Chester. This role can be a mix of office, home & remote working for the right candidate.

You will be trained and supported by our senior leadership team to ensure that you have great product understanding and can build executive relationships with our existing client base and to also win new business. Working with other members of the sales team on enterprise deals, you will have 2 direct reports and will work and mentor them to take our products to the next level. This is a great role for someone who is looking for progression and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform detailed analysis of client’s operating environments and creating tailored solutions to meet the customer and prospects needs
  • Work with our existing client base to determine their present and future needs with the MSL suite of software solutions.
  • Win new business through a consultative and strategic approach.
  • Achieve ongoing individual and team sales targets to maintain and grow revenue for the organization
  • Work with internal teams to ensure customer agreements are accurate and can be accommodated (e.g., Professional Services, Research & Development, Finance)
  • Develop and effectively manage customer pipelines to maintain and grow revenue
  • Build in-depth understandings of customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and form long term business partnerships
  • Demonstrate MSL Group suite of software solutions and coordinate preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts, and account management plans
  • Contract negotiation

Your Key Skills & Experience

  • Excellent customer facing, presentation and demonstration skills
  • Extensive experience (5+years) within a business-to-business sales environment in Software or Hospitality industries
  • Proven Sales Strategy ability
  • Ability to lead discussions with senior decision makers
  • Pre-sales experience is beneficial
  • Outstanding negotiation, communication and influencing skills with all levels of staff including executive and board
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Proven sales history in meeting and exceeding targets
