The Role:

As the Business Development Manager / BDM, you will contribute to both individual and team-based targets.

The role will be focused across both existing account growth and also new business generation. Maximise your relationships with your owned accounts, ensure they see ongoing value from the partnership and maximise spend. Then utilise all your sales nous to open new opportunities.

You will work closely with the Business Development Executives and wider teams to deliver commercial success across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across internal teams to drive and increase the overall profit, revenue of the business.
  • Maximise revenue opportunity from the client base by increasing frequent and value of spend.
  • Guide partners through offer development.
  • Support with the management of vendor and supplier commercial programmes and campaigns.
  • Consistently provide and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction with a consultative approach.

Essential experience required:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in B2B and/or Channel sales/Account Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, including Microsoft’s Cloud offerings.
  • A strong, relationship focussed approach to clients and client growth.
  • Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp the features and benefits of a proposition, and the ability to translate this clearly to client accounts.
  • Excellent organisational skills working well both in a team environment and individually.
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
  • UK Driving License.

Package:

  • Base salary of up to £35k plus £12k (OTE) Uncapped bonus.
  • Hybrid working: Fareham
  • 25 Days annual leave plus your Birthday off.
