A leading engineering company is seeking a skilled Technical Business Development / Sales Manager to expand its Brownfield operations in Norway, focusing on both onshore and offshore markets. The Brownfield division is dedicated to enhancing the performance of existing systems through targeted improvements, operational support, and strategic upgrades. The role involves upgrading and integrating new process systems where retrofitting old equipment isn't feasible, ensuring seamless operations for the future. The company’s expertise covers a wide range of applications, from onshore to offshore, including fixed platforms, FPSOs, and various processing treatments from heavy oil to condensate. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development: Collaborate with management to craft and maintain a competitive strategy for the Norwegian Brownfield market. Pipeline Management: Identify and develop opportunities from initial contact through to proposal and project handover, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and achievement of sales targets. Client Engagement: Maximize revenue potential by fostering relationships with existing clients and developing new business. Internal Communication: Regularly update internal teams on sales activities, including customer interactions and proposal generation. Market Analysis: Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape in the Norwegian market, including tracking competitor activities. Leadership: Lead strategic discussions, support decision-making processes, and manage negotiations with the assistance of contract and legal teams. Global Integration: Participate in global team initiatives to enhance safety, performance, and digital capabilities across the Brownfield division. Network Development: Leverage and grow your industry network to secure new business opportunities and reinforce existing partnerships. Market Insight: Keep abreast of market trends and emerging opportunities to stay ahead in the industry. Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Mechanical, E&I, Process, or Automation Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).Minimum of 5 years of experience in the North Sea oil and gas industry.Proven experience in a related field, with hands-on knowledge of similar equipment.Strong professional network within the oil and gas sector.Competency in understanding and negotiating legal terms.Proficiency in professional English writing.Excellent presentation and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of the competitive environment in the oil and gas industry.Troubleshooting experience in oil and gas production.This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, driving growth in the Norwegian Brownfield sector.
