Business Development Manager - Industrial Services

Location: Sheffield

The Business Development Manager is part of our Industrial Services team with particular focus on industrial cleaning and it is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys planning their own diary and working independently while also being part of a team where relationships with internal/external stakeholders is key. Responsible for building pipelines and prospecting lead generation/new business across the UK while working to tight deadlines from 3 months to 1 year and creating value propositions for contracts up to £1,000,000 annual value. It is 100% new business across multiple sectors so strategic prospecting and cold calling is required.

Here’s what we require.

• Strong Field sales experience in Industrial activities and industrial Cleaning.
• Experience in selling B2B solutions and/or services-based contracts.
• Strong experience in selling and building contracts with Waste to Energy & manufacturing customers.
• Experience in responding and leading on details tender submissions.
• Successful track record in securing contracts with annual revenues over £100,000.
• Knowledge of how to build and read P&L and balance sheets which requires strong excel skills.
• Knowledge and experience of a consultative approach to new business proposals.
