Business Development Manager - Refrigerated (US + Canada)

Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Business Development Manager in Oakville and Toronto, ON, for a leading logistics and supply chain company. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the US produce industry, focusing on refrigerated transportation. You will develop a strong pipeline of potential clients through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach. To succeed, you should have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated approach to building lasting customer relationships. Salary: $50K base + $15K guaranteed commission (paid like salary) Location: Oakville and Toronto, ON Shifts: Monday - Friday | Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Why Apply? Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers aligned with the company's ideal client profile. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the US produce industry, focusing on refrigerated transportation. Conduct cold calling, networking, and outreach to expand the company's customer base. Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborate with the internal Solutions Team to ensure excellent service delivery. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using Salesforce or similar sales software. Stay up to date on industry trends and continuously seek new business opportunities. Requirements & Qualifications Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada. Proven track record in sales with measurable success. Strong communication and active listening skills. Self-starter with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing deals. Highly collaborative and solution-oriented mindset. Prior experience in cold calling and lead generation. Experience with Salesforce or other sales software (an asset, but not required).
