Role Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the client base by identifying and qualifying potential leads. Your main responsibilities will include engaging with prospects, conducting outbound sales activities, and generating qualified sales opportunities for the sales team.
Alongside your role as a BDR, you will also have the opportunity to undergo a 12–18-month course to achieve a Sales Qualification!
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales are essential for this position.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to generate sales leads.
• Engage with prospects, understand their business needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
• Qualify leads and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and sales opportunities.
Experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) role or a similar position.
• Experience in SaaS sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies, including cold calling and social selling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
