WSR is excited to recruit a Business Manager for Environmental Sales on behalf of our esteemed client in Milton Keynes.\n\nSalary: £50k-£60k + Company Car + Bonus\nHours: Monday to Friday\nLocation: Milton Keynes - At least within commutable distance of Milton Keynes office\n\nBusiness Manager Responsibilities and Tasks\n\nMarket Development & Sales Strategy\n\nExpand sales in key markets, focusing on the Midlands and North.\nIdentify growth opportunities in the wastewater sector and adjacent industries.\nDefine and implement strategies that drive revenue while maintaining profit margins.\nCustomer & Project Management\n\nBuild and nurture strong relationships with clients, including key accounts.\nCollaborate with project teams through all sales phases, supporting contract negotiations.\nKeep detailed and accurate sales records using CRM tools and forecasting.\nOperational Support & Innovation\n\nRepresent the company at exhibitions and conferences to boost brand visibility.\nContribute to product development and innovation efforts.\nSupport seamless project handovers and order processing.\nCollaboration & Cross-Selling\n\nPartner with service engineers and cross-divisional teams to explore new opportunities.\nExpand markets for cutting-edge solutions like biogas and wastewater technologies.\nEnvironmental Business Focus\n\nTarget growth in key sectors, including water companies, biogas, and industrial wastewater.\nConduct market research and support testing of innovative products.\nBusiness Manager Experience and Qualifications\n\nA degree in a related field or equivalent experience in sales (wastewater industry experience is a plus!).\nProven sales expertise, including negotiation, contracting, and account management.\nCRM proficiency and solid Microsoft Office skills.\nDemonstrated success in driving growth and building relationships in the Midlands and North.\nStrong communication and networking abilities with a customer-focused approach.\nBusiness Manager Benefits\n\nHolidays: 25 days (with increases based on service).\nHealth: Private healthcare, digital GP access, and mental health support.\nEnhanced Pay: Generous maternity, paternity, and sick pay.\nSecure Future: Pension plan, income protection, and life assurance (4x salary).\nEmployee Rewards: Recognition platform, discounts, Cycle 2 Work scheme, and more!\n\nWhy Join Us?\nBe part of an innovative team shaping the future of environmental technologies.
