Summary:
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization focused on social impact initiatives, seeking an experienced Business Operations Project Manager to join our team on a contractual basis. As we embark on various process development and deployment initiatives, we are looking for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in managing these projects with a focus on efficiency and excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for business operations, with a primary emphasis on process development and deployment
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate seamless transitions and enhance stakeholder adoption
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and maintain clear and compelling project documentation, utilizing effective storytelling techniques to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
- Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
- Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables.
- Utilize Microsoft Modern SharePoint for effective collaboration and project documentation.
- Leverage PowerApps and PowerBI workflows to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- PMP or PMI certification
- 5-7 years experience
- Proven experience in project management within a business operations capacity
- People management and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
- Strong expertise in change management, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey project objectives, updates, and outcomes effectively
- Proficient in risk management and adept at identifying and addressing potential project challenge
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Modern SharePoint development is essential
- Experience with PowerApps and PowerBI workflows is a significant plus
- Proven project management experience, preferably in business operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
