Overview: Trillion Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to support a high-profile federal client. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in collecting and analyzing requirements, providing business analysis, and documenting requirements for development and testing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze business requirements, providing detailed documentation for development and testing teams.
- Quickly understand business processes and perform requirements analysis, business process analysis, and impact analysis.
- Lead requirements meetings with SMEs, business stakeholders, and field personnel.
- Communicate requirements effectively with technical SMEs to help design solutions and document Level of Efforts (LOEs).
- Work in a dynamic environment with a high-level understanding of system development, cloud technologies, and API-based development.
- Collect, analyze, and present data to explain business processes based on system metrics.
- Stakeholder Outreach / Communications Support:
- Serve as a liaison between the program and internal stakeholders, building rapport, cultivating trusted relationships, and providing help to build solutions based on customer needs
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data releases
- Execute internal and external communications activities (e.g., presentations, web content creation and management, programmatic responses to internal and external inquiries).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business analysis and requirements documentation.
- Expertise with tools such as Jira, draw.io, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office Suite, Confluence, SharePoint, and agile development frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work based on competing demands of clients and team members.
- High level of personal initiative with the ability to rapidly learn client and industry environments.
- Excitement about learning organization-specific programs and technologies.
Desired Skills:
- Programming knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, and AWS Cloud Services.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of experience is required
- Experience in the information technology (IT) industry required
- Federal Government consulting experience required
- Experience working with the DHS agencies highly
- Experience with productivity and collaboration tools (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, GitHub)
