Job Details
· The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity;.
· Writing and revising requirements documents for development and modifications of third party application.
· Develop detail project plans to identify tasks, task dependencies and critical path to implement assigned projects.
· Develop QC testing plans, tests & reviews new and modified systems and programs to ensure all programs meet business requirements.
· Develop and enforce change control policies for software implementations and modifications
· Write end-user training materials, train & support end-users in-person and remotely.
· IWC has recently migrated our ERP system from a legacy AS-400 system to a Windows/MS-SQL-based graphical order entry and production control system. AS-400 experience is not required but may be useful for historical purposes.
· Writes system reports using MS Report Builder, proprietary application reporting tools, and other third-party reporting software using TSQL queries, MS-SQL stored procedures to retrieve data. Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle ERP experience a plus.
· Fenestration or building materials manufacturing experience is a plus.
· Basic skills with networking and Active Directory is a plus.
· Machine/CNC/PLC, CAD/CAM integration experience is a plus.
· Advance skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) as well as MS Project. Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. Knowledge of SQL environment, data warehouse, and run basic SQL queries of the data.
· Excellent analytical skills
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
· Ability to work independently and on a team
· Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Programmer with the ability to adapt and learn new system and environments.
· Any combination of course work in computer science management, information systems, or the equivalent business experience.
