A Birmingham-based Insurance Company is seeking to add a Client Services/Business Analyst to their exceptional team.  The candidate will support business growth through the organization’s existing technology and the integration of new technology into existing systems. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate maximum efficiency of all departments of the company while ensuring and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Maintain knowledge of all software processes and procedures, including how the various administrative settings in the Policy and Billing software affect those processes.
  • Agency maintenance, which includes requesting and processing Broker Agreements, setting up new agencies, updating existing agency contacts, transferring book of business, and other related tasks.
  • Responsible for member and agency/broker account data management.
  • Serve as the first line of support for computer hardware and software troubleshooting before escalating to the external IT Systems Administrator. 
  • Recommend best IT practices to management
  • Provide training and support to users
  • Respond to hardware/software help-desk requests from office personnel
  • Coordinate the deployment of software releases
  • Perform administrative tasks in a timely manner during renewal season

Responsibilities

  • Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent
  • Organizational and customer service skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to creatively approach and solve situations
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, very team-oriented, and focused on delivering the best work product that will influence positive results.
