Must be able to be onsite 3 times/week in Philadelphia, PA- local candidates only
W2 Rates only 

Our client is looking for a Business System Analyst with strong front-end experience.  Analysts will need to have the ability to create SQL queries.  Know about basic web service functionality and logic, plus JSON format.  Experience managing customer service for product performance and availability.  Ability to write functional requirements for API projects.  6-month long contract with conversion to full-time possible. 
 

• Develop & maintain computer-based applications to support business needs. Test, debug, document, and maintain programs
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Work with internal & external customers at a high level to determine IS needs to provide desired results
• Ability to coordinate meetings with customers and present ideas in clear and concise fashion.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects of varying size & scope simultaneously
• Create detailed project outlines and application design document specifications 
• Must be able to design applications to meet customer needs.
• Formulates and defines scope (requirements) and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes.
• Works with stakeholders on process improvement projects designed to improve results.
• Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve root causes.
• Evaluates/researches business problems and their relationship to technology.
• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of project or development proposals including problem definition, evaluation or alternatives, cost/benefit analysis, action plans, and documentation (reports, models, etc.)
•  Typically coordinates activities at a department level.
• The resource must have previous web services/API and Microsoft or Oracle SQL DB knowledge.
•  Intermediate SQL knowledge is a must.
• Previous Production Support experience tracking incidents and managing customer relationships is highly desirable.
• Previous experience utilizing application monitoring tools and tracking production issues is highly desirable.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
SQL and database knowledge is required.
Previous experience supporting or writing requirements for web services/API is a must.

Desired
Production Support experience is highly desirable.
 Previous experience with tools like Dynatrace, xMatters, Service Now, Azure DevOps, and similar development process and support tools is highly desirable.
