Cad Designer

Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (slightly flexible)

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)



About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join a dynamic team in Scunthorpe. This role involves working on a variety of steel and aluminum projects, creating and adapting designs using CAD software to meet customer specifications. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical drawings and supporting ongoing projects.



Key Responsibilities:



* Create detailed and accurate technical drawings using CAD software.



* Collaborate with team members and customers to adapt and refine designs.



* Ensure all designs meet customer specifications and industry standards.



* Support product improvement initiatives with technical input.



* Handle a mix of bespoke, complex projects and repetitive updates to existing designs.



What We’re Looking For:



* Experience with CAD software (essential).



* Strong technical drawing and design skills with excellent attention to detail.



* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.



* Previous experience in steel or aluminum projects is desirable.
