Warm Springs Telecom is a full-service Telephone Company offering voice, data, and broadband services to the of the Warm Springs Reservation. Warm Springs Telecom is one of only nine Tribally owned telephone companies in the United States.
We are currently looking for a CAD drafter to help us post our outside plant telephone facilities to the newly created base maps.Position Summary
The CAD drafter will be tasked with using an AutoCAD-based menu to incorporate Outside Plant infrastructure (e.g., cables, vaults, poles) into the drawings. Additionally, we require a comprehensive set of deliverables, including drawing layouts, construction drawings, engineering drawings, architectural drawings, building plans, and related documentation. The primary focus will be accurately mapping the facilities onto the drawings. This position is located in Warm Springs, OR.
Duties Include

• Drafting of maps and drawings using CAD software
• Working with the team to develop and maintain accurate, high-quality maps and drawings in accordance with company standards
• May include field work from time to time. Gathering footage, researching maps and facility conflicts
• Drafting construction documents as needed, including drawing layouts, specifications and other documentation related to project
• Customize the Outside Plant Menu to our symbology as needed
• Develop and implement drawing routines as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-years of job experience as an AutoCAD Drafter
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Current Oregon Drivers License in good standing
• Associate’s degree or better in CAD/Civil
