What Youll Be Doing:
As a CAD Drafter, youll turn field data into fabrication-ready drawings with absolute accuracy. Picture thiseach day you:
- Create detailed CAD drawings based on field measurements, templates, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with the production and installation teams to ensure drawings align with both design intent and fabrication capabilities.
- Translate digital laser measurements into clean, clear shop drawings for custom countertops and surfaces.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback or production adjustments.
- Organize and manage a library of current and archived CAD files.
- Identify potential design or fit issues and propose solutions with the team.
- Stay current with CAD tools, stone fabrication processes, and industry best practices.
What You Bring:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD software.
- Experience with industry-specific tools like Slabsmith ().
- Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements with precision.
- Experience in countertop fabrication, construction, or related design fields (Highly ).
