CAD Drafter - Warehouse

Description:
The CAD Engineer will be responsible for owning our building layout to ensure that everything is accurately depicted on our CAD files for all layers, as well as assist engineers and production leaders with design and layout concepts for our warehouse and offices.

Responsibilities:
• Own and maintain all layers of the building CAD files to ensure they’re accurate up to date.
• Assist Engineers with design and layout concepts for both our production facilities and offices.
• Produce accurate design documentation, including part drawings, assembly drawings, and exploded views.
• Suggest design improvements, new materials, or alternative processes that can enhance product performance or reduce costs.
• Engage in continuous learning to develop new skills that improve design efficiency and innovation.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Adept in creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and ability to perform calculations related to design parameters.
• Familiarity with industry-specific design standards, codes, and regulations.
