CAD Engineer

Purpose of the Job: Manage the preparation of design, shop drawings, As-built drawings, construction documents, installation of equipment and other necessary documents deliverables in accordance with Project requirements ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders. Responsibilities: Support the technical contractual scope of the project: Ensure availability of resources to achieve the Engineering on time. Subsequent to design phase. Taking verbal direction and implementing sketches and calculations to produce the final work. Ensure proper management of design filing, storage and retrieval. Keeping records of the changes and monitoring of the document and its changes to comply configuration management . Producing plans, elevation, technical details and interface drawings from the inputs of related subsystem/ subcontractors/suppliers and civil contractors. Support the processing of the customer acceptance of the project solution, especially for deviations. Ensure on-time submission and approvals. Provide periodic reports. Support the project solution, including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments. Ensure, with the support of the required experts and involving all stakeholders, that all the technical requirements of the contract are fully addressed throughout the project lifecycle, from the capture stage up to the demonstration. Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities. Check and validate design on-site. Functionally support the Signalling/Telecom/SCADA engineering team: Accomplish Task(s) assigned by the Engineering team. Prepare the CSD/SEM input/output coordination to civil contractor, and as-builts on time. To participate in the evaluation of the project engineering and management team. Ensure to comp ly progressively and presented to project management and Platform. Share Environment, Health and Security (EHS) rules with project engineering team (receiving inputs from PM/Project EHS Manager/Coordinator or RC EHS Manager). Support the interface with the project core team: Provide all technical documents in time for the industrialization, design, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning. Provide support for execution of technical activities onshore (delegation of responsibility could be defined and formalized in the Project Management Plan of the NSCR Project). Support in solving technical issues with offshore support and with different core team members. Job Requirements: Degree in Engineering or relevant domain. Candidate must be a licensed Engineer or Architect. 3-5 years of good experience in Auto CAD operation, building work, Equipment design, Machine design, Etc. Preferably with relevant work experience in Electrical, Construction, or building maintenance. Systematic and detail oriented.
