About the Opportunity:

Prime Personnel Resources is hiring for a CAD Technician for a company that is located in Alamance County. This position is full time, Monday - Friday.

Seeking a high quality CAD Technician with excellent problem solving abilities, preferably with residential land development experience and proficiency with Civil 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of accurate design and construction drawings
• Collaborating and coordinating design with project teams including: engineers, designers, consultants, clients, and developer
• Interpreting relevant codes and requirements
• Implementing creative solutions
• Providing general assistance to engineers
• Conducting occasional field site work

Skills

• Utilization of site development software, Civil 3D preferred
• Knowledge of surveying and Engineering principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Interpretation of complex technical drawings, maps, documents, and plans.

Education

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering or design related field or 2 years of experience in surveying, drafting and design and/or civil engineering
