CAD Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe CAD Technician will prepare CAD maps for telecommunications infrastructure projects. Projects include preparing designs, staking maps, and as-built maps for Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) construction projects. 
QualificationsEducation:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

• Detailed experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D/MAP3D associated GIS toolsets that are utilized in the mapping of telecommunications outside plant networks.
• Experience with QGIS or Global Mapper is . The creation/manipulation of shapefiles is required.
• Google Earth PRO and file structure.
• General computer knowledge and MS Office suite.
• Experience with preparing CAD documentation for telecom service providers is .

Skills:

• Requires good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.

Additional InformationWork Schedule:

• This is not a remote position.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Pay $45.48 an hour.
