CAE Simulation Engineer; Automotive / Electric Vehicles / Energy Efficiency

Our Automotive client is seeking a CAE Engineer with a background in energy efficiency, battery and electric motor simulations for Electric vehicles. As a 1D CAE Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing system simulations to verify the requirements and performance of energy efficiency, consumption, and range. You will collaborate with the Attribute Energy Efficiency team, system teams, and other CAE engineers to integrate 3D and 1D simulations. Working closely with the Attribute Leader and System Experts, you will provide recommendations and suggest solutions that impact both software and hardware. Responsibilities Perform system simulations to verify energy efficiency, consumption, and range requirements. Develop plans in collaboration with the Attribute Energy Efficiency team, system teams, and other CAE engineers. Integrate and interface between 3D and 1D simulations. Work with the Attribute Leader and System Experts to recommend and suggest software and hardware solutions. Qualifications and Skills M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or a related field. Experience in energy efficiency, battery, and electric motor simulation. Automotive industry experience. Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Python, and Carmaker. Personal Attributes Analytical and meticulous. Solution-driven and a team player. Strong communication skills to effectively handle the challenges of designing future products.
