Job Title: Capacity Planning Analyst

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Range: $40-$45/h on DOE

Description:

Data analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production capacity, including machine utilization, labor resources, and production schedules. Forecasting: Predict future capacity requirements based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and historical performance data. Modeling: Develop and maintain capacity models to simulate different scenarios and assess the impact of changes in demand, production processes, and resource availability. Reporting: Generate and present reports on capacity utilization, constraints, and potential bottlenecks to stakeholders and management. Resource allocation: Determine the optimal allocation of resources (e.g., equipment, labor) to meet production goals and maximize efficiency. Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase capacity through process optimization and automation.
